Bio

Since the age of 5, I have grown up here in Ooltewah.  I went to Westview Elementary, Ooltewah Middle School and graduated from Ooltewah High School. I then moved to Knoxville and went to college at the University of Tennessee. (GO VOLS!) After working in pubic relations for several years, I discovered I missed my calling. I moved back home to recieve my Masters in Education from UTC. I LOVE that I decided to listen to my heart and do what I always knew I was born to do...... TEACH.

I began my teaching journey at Battle Academy in downtown Chattanooga. I taught 4th and 2nd grade there until I made the decision to come to OES.  I have taught 4th grade here at OES for 3 years and I LOVE IT! The teachers are amazing, the administation is supportive and the PTA ROCKS! I am so thankful to be apart of this amazing community again and be apart of the growth and changes.

I have been married for 13 years and I have 2 amazing children who attend OES as well. My husband's name is Brady and is amazingly involved with OES as much as possible.  My son Colton is in 5th grade and my daughter Savannah is in 1st grade. I also have a 14 year old dog named Riley who is a lab hound mix. We are a very close family and love to travel as much as possible.

I am excited for our 1st year in a new building and I am thankful to be apart of that is happening here at OES!
